Dispensing Audiologist
Dr. Therese Sankovitz earned her Master of Science degree in Audiology from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point in May 1983, followed by her doctorate from A.T. Still University in August 2016. Dr. Sankovitz is licensed to practice audiology in Wisconsin and New Mexico. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and a fellow of the American Academy of Audiologists.
Dr. Sankovitz has decades of experience with diagnostic audiology and hearing aid dispensing, which includes work as a clinical dispensing audiologist in settings such as major medical centers, nursing homes and private practice ENT offices. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing and balance disorders for children and adults. Dr. Sankovitz regularly attends technology training sessions with most manufacturers so she can provide up-to-date hearing aid fittings and repairs.
Outside of the office, Dr. Sankovitz is an award-winning long-arm quilter, a nature enthusiast, and an active participant in the local farmers market. She has a real passion for hearing health care and her Silver City community.
